Omar Jaber is a lawyer registered with the Beirut Bar Association since 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Faculty of Law at Université La Sagesse (Lebanon), where he was enrolled from the academic year 1998–1999 through 2001–2002.
He relocated to Dubai in 2014 and currently serves as Regional Legal Counsel for CANPACK, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of aluminium packaging containers in the MENA region. He has over 20 years of experience across litigation, corporate and commercial law, and labour law, advising on complex matters across multiple jurisdictions. In his regional role, Omar acts as a trusted business adviser, supporting key functions including procurement, operations and sales, and contributing to commercial strategy, risk management, and decision-making.
Omar is actively engaged in sustainability and circular-economy initiatives in the UAE and Morocco. He serves as Secretary General of the Alliance pour l’Innovation et le Recyclage des Emballages (AIRE) Morocco and is a member of the UAE Aluminium Recycling Coalition. In both roles, he represents CANPACK and contributes to industry and policy discussions that advance responsible recycling and sustainable business practices.
